~Fall Forecast 2014~
Fall is coming up so we decided to make a "Fall Forecast."
Here are a few of our favorite picks for fall!
Scarves are BIG again for fall. Use a colorful scarf to add a pop of color to a simple outfit.
If you're going for a casual look, we love to add a pair of neutral Chuck Taylors' to create a sporty look...adding a monogram to your sneakers gives it a cute touch!
Leather and knits are a "go-to" for fall/winter. Throw on a pair on leather jeggings and comfy sweater or cute shirt making a perfect outfit to say warm but still look fabulous. Like the picture, you always put "big over narrow." You can also try an all black look, giving you the opportunity to accessorize with statement jewelry or cool prints.
The cargo jacket is a necessity for fall. Olive is the perfect color to wear if you want it to feel more like fall . Add a plain tee, skinny jeans, booties and great jewels and you're set!
In the south, we love boots and this year in particular, the duck boots have been coming back! Our favorite duck boots are from Hunter. Whether it's hiking in the mountains or just walking around in the rain, these boots are a must have!
Even though in the fall people feel like they need to wear darker colors, you can still rock a bright, cheery color to brighten a room. A hot pink skirt is super cute with a plain shirt and a patterned clutch.
Leopard print is always a classic and is huge right now! It's like a neutral, you can pair it with almost anything. It is perfect of you just need something cute with an edge to stand out in your outfit.
This summer, tie-dye has been a popular print to wear. Considering it has done so well the past couple of months, I defiantly think that it will be brought into fall. It is such a cool and chill pattern...throw on a chic tie-dye blouse and a pair of jeans and you're ready to go!
Again, scarves are gonna be big, but anything with tassels or pompoms is a way to wear something simple and add a fun spin on a basic accessory. Also ethnic Aztec jewelry or anything with a rustic look will be very popular for fall!
Colored jeans are also the perfect way to add color to an outfit. Choose any color jeans and find either a simple top or a color coordinated blouse to go with it (just don't be too matchy matchy).
A trench coat is the perfect piece to wear if you're out walking around town or throw it on when you need to run some errands but still looking chic! Defiantly a need for your fall wardrobe.
DENIM AND BOOTS! That's all I have to say. If you do not have a denim jacket/shirt and a pair of moto or riding boots in your closet, then you will not survive this fall in the fashion world. These pieces can go together or separately, but you can wear them almost every single day. My denim jacket is a must and I have a pair of leather riding boots and I literally have worn them out just by wearing them so much. These pieces are a NEED not a want!!
